TW: Graphic violence.
Some of you may remember the mentally ill and homeless man, James Boyd, who was shot multiple times by three police officers. Well at first he was shot multiple times then, after collapsing to the ground, James was shot with three consecutive bean bag rounds, and attacked by a police dog for several seconds before they step on his hand so he would(could?) release the knife in his hand. This doesn’t mention that fact that this occurred near the police station, and that they threw what appears to be a flash bang grenade at him. All for the crime of illegally camping, and drawing two knifes (after they threw the flash bang at him).

For those of you who have watched it or watched it now I think it is safe to say that was a case of extreamly over use of force.

Now I’m not normally so keen on reporting news, but I remember this case quite clearly and I’m very glad to hear that this is going to court.

Hi. I’ve just returned to my blog after a few months away and see that you are one of many new followers I must get to know.
I should confess right now that WordPress has made so many changes in the months I’ve been away that I can’t even figure out how to find and click on your (or anyone else’s, profile. I do most of my blogging on my Android phone so can only see the scaled back versions of everyone’s blogs. I have to spend some time re-learning how to navigate blogs (mine included) so I can find the appropriate place to leave thanks and greetings!
It’s late now and I’m shutting down soon, so I hope you’ll excuse this rambling introduction, posted in the wrong place! 😃 I haven’t got the time or energy to read any of your posts at the moment, but a quick scan of your headlines tells me I’m going to enjoy them!
So, thank you for following my blog. I hope you’ll pop by and read the “About Me” section if you haven’t already, so you’ll know a bit more about me and why I sometimes have to abandon my blog, and the ones I follow – of which yours is now one – for days, weeks and sometimes even months.

I just tried repeatedly using the Post Settings, but it didn’t work, so my first post in months is one long monstrosity of words. 😨 No worries if you don’t feel up to it, I’ll figure it out eventually!
p.s. I don’t usually leave such long, rambling intro posts the first time I visit a blog. But I’m really tired and that’s when my rambling reflex kicks in. Sorry ’bout that! 😊
